Summer is just right around the corner! Before you head to the beach or out the door to your summer vacation, here are some great home maintenance tips for the summer to do to keep your home in tip-top shape!

  • Clean your grill!
  • Clean your outdoor patio furniture
  • Reseal your deck
  • Clean your gutters and downspouts
  • Clean your dryer vents
  • Wash all your windows on the outside
  • Power wash your siding or brick
  • Inspect all your outdoor recreational equipment and review safety tips before using
  • Inspect your roof for leaks or damage and repair in preparation for summer storms
  • Inspect the caulking around your windows, doors and any openings to the outside
  • Prune your trees and shrubs
  • Inspect your driveway for cracks from the cold winter weather & reseal your driveway if necessary
  • Clean and organize your garage
  • Reverse your ceiling fan’s direction so it pulls air upward
